Our client is a recognised Global FMCG in the consumer goods & retail space. They have an expanding presence in Australia due to an outstanding product range, and highly developed sales & marketing strategy. Due to expansion & growth in the region, they are looking for a strong technical Financial Reporting Manager to join the team. **The Role**
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for financial reporting and compliance to ensure that the Company is compliant with global policies and procedures as well as local laws and regulations. Main responsibilities:

- Reporting requirements across the business including internal reporting, external reporting, internal controls, and statutory compliance
- Preparation of cash flow forecasts and other key financial information to assist senior management in making decisions;
- Prepare monthly consolidated reports and forecasts and provide analysis on corporate cost expenditure and performance;
- Work with internal/external stakeholders in the preparation of tax returns, annual financial statements, and periodic audits;
- Assisting in the development, implementation and review of financial processes and procedures, with an emphasis on streamlining processes and improving efficiencies;
- Assisting the Global CFO with all other financial and operational issues and communicating with the business as required.
- Mentor and manage Finance team members (AR team, Credit Claims Officer and Accounts Officer).

**Preferred Experience**
- CA/CPA or equivalent
- 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role - ideally FMCG, manufacturing, distribution
- US GAAP knowledge advantageous
- Strong leadership and the ability to coach & mentor staff
