Our **client** is an iconic Australian business, that sits as the powerhouse of their industry. The business has experienced sustained growth and expansion since its inception almost 100 years ago. With a dynamic and respected leadership team, the business has an ambitious growth plan that will see it further cement its position in the wholesale/distribution industry.

**Role**:
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the focus of this role will be to ensure compliance with all reporting requirements. Specifically, your role will include but not be limited to:

- Coach and mentor 3 direct reports
- Manage key stakeholders including; External Auditors, Insurance brokers, Bank relationship managers and the finance team
- Financial reporting of revenue in excess of $500 million per annum, across 13 physical branches and 10 functional business units
- Key contact for the group tax assurance program
- Manage the audit process of the organisation's group
- Preparation of budgets for business partner areas
- Financial statements
- Income Tax return
- Bank signatory

**Skills & Knowledge Required**:

- A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Membership to CAANZ / CPA or equivalent
- Experience with ERP systems
- Advanced excel skills
- Maintain a high standard of delivery on all work, meet deadlines and the ability to motivate personnel
- Display the ability to act in an FC role as required for short periods of time
- Ability to develop rapport to ensure effective working relationships with a broad range of managers and employees
- Lead by example and instil a collaborative working style across the team
