**About Your Role: Information Systems & Project Security Officer**

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Information Systems & Project Security Officer is a pivotal member of the Underwater (UWS) Security Organisation. Collaborating closely with the Rydalmere Site Security Manager, you will serve as an advisor and assistant to ensure the security of DISP Accredited ICT assets within designated Defence projects.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Implement and maintain UWS network/system security.
- Provide expert ICT security advice to UWS management and staff.
- Monitor and regulate access to UWS ICT assets, specifically DISP Accredited Assets.
- Execute and oversee ongoing security education programs.
- Maintain a high standard of system administration and management.
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders and investigate security breaches.
- Conduct security inspections, reviews, and self-inspections annually.
- Manage all security aspects of UWS project-related personnel, physical, and information assets.
- Coordinate and implement protective security measures for UWS project assets.

**Skills, Qualifications & Experience**:

- Current Australian security clearance or ability to obtain one.
- Experience in configuring and managing ICT equipment and software.
- 5+ years of IT experience with 2+ years in ICT security or relevant certifications.
- Familiarity with security tools like Data Encryption, Vulnerability Management
- Working knowledge of PSPF/DSM and ISM.
- Completion of Classified Document Handling and ITSO/ISSO courses issued by ASD.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
