We are currently seeking a part time, 30 hour per week Purchasing Assistant to join our Engineering team. Based on site at Dreamworld and reporting to the Manager, Continued Compliance and Reliability, the Engineering Purchasing Assistant is responsible for the administration of the Engineering Department’s purchasing, stocktake, Rapid Global system, shipping, and system transfer across Dreamworld & WhiteWater World.

**Key duties of this role will include**:

- Requesting Credit Notes from suppliers if required
- Ensuring suppliers invoices for payment are scanned and forwarded to Purchasing to add to SharePoint for approval
- Liaising with suppliers for invoicing and to ensure stock delivery has been organised
- Maintaining accurate and up to date Purchase Orders through regular communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Arranging for international freight to be forwarded to Dreamworld and WhiteWater World, liaising with Freight Forwarder for pick up and duty exemptions, and following up on shipments
- Setting up and assisting new contractors with Rapid Global
- Ensuring all necessary Contractor documents are provided and reviewed throughout a project phase
- Assisting in the Engineering store with stock being logged in/out
- Assisting with stock labelling and storage in store room

**Applicants must satisfy the following criteria**:

- Relevant experience in a similar role within a Warehouse/Engineering environment
- Advanced Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint knowledge with the ability to quickly learn internal software programs used within the department.
- Demonstrated well developed verbal and interpersonal skills and the ability to present information in a wide range of mediums
- Self-motivated, with the strong organisational ability to work successfully under competing deadlines and demands, heavy peak periods and fluctuating workloads.
- High level of initiative with ability to deal with multiple projects/tasks simultaneously and with conflicting priorities whilst remaining calm under pressure.
