**Training Coordinator**

**About the role**

The Training Coordinator’s role is to coordinate and record all training programs for the Fulton Hogan, McIlwain, and JF Hull Joint Venture on the Coomera Connector. The Training Coordinator will ensure that all JV personnel meet the competency requirements and contractual obligations of the project.

**Duties**
- Ensure the organisation’s training activities are planned to meet current and future JV employee needs and satisfy government training requirements.
- Ensure personnel training records are maintained to meet employee, JV and statutory requirements and entitlements.
- Ensure all activities comply with relevant Acts, legal demands and ethical standards.
- Observe safe systems of work relevant to your work area and report potential hazards.
- Development of training schedules, venues and resources in consultation with Human Resources Manager.
- Creation and monitoring of purchase orders, allocations, financial reports and associated training costs, with relevant budget owner approvals
- Maintenance of the PDP-AU and Salesforce training database and training registers for all JV personnel; including Salaried, Wages, Subcontractors and Labour Hire employees’.
- General office duties including the development of presentations and support to the Senior Managers.
- Maintain register of preferred training providers
- Obtain proof of training and distribute certification following relevant training programs.
- Communicate with relevant RTO’s industry stakeholders on funding, revisions and updates to required levels of competence for the activities JV undertake including apprenticeships and trainees.
- Assist in the audit of projects as per the schedule.

**Skills & experience**
- 2 + years experience in Administration and/or Training.
- Previous experience in heavy industry, mining or civil construction highly regarded.
