Team Leader - Insurance

The Team Leader - Insurance is a key specialist role within our, maintaining external operational relationships with MMS's insurance partners. These insurance partnerships are critical for our national Novated Leasing business and, as such, this role is required to regularly update and communicate the status of said partnerships to the wider MMS business in order to maintain contractual, regulatory and legal compliance across all Operational and Sales activities.

Additionally, this role will manage 6 x Insurance Consultants, providing all necessary training, coaching and mentoring as well as being a point of escalation if necessary.

Key responsibilities for this role will be:

- Foster a culture of open communication and prioritisation within the team to ensure monthly operational tasks are completed accurately and on time
- Engage internally to seek shared commitment to actions that support the ongoing operational effectiveness of our insurance products
- Recommend, build and embed processes/reporting that manage compliance and risk within the insurance team
- Review work volumes within the team to ensure correct skilling and staffing
- Seek opportunity to align tasks into the team where it will deliver benefit to insurance products/processes
- Foster a culture of open communication and prioritisation within the team to ensure monthly operational tasks are completed accurately and on time
- Identify development and coaching opportunities to uplift team capability, particularly in line with how we maintain and report compliance on the insurance products.
- Actively mentor and develop direct reports, provide coaching and feedback on an informal, day to day basis, as well as via regular one on one catch ups and performance reviews
- Contribute to creating & maintaining a motivated, committed and productive workplace that aligns to MMSG values and behaviours.

Key attributes
- Experience managing key B2B relationships
- Experience with managing insurance products
- Experience leading people and understanding of motivational and coaching frameworks
- Strong analytical mindset
- Experience of excel including advance functions to support data integrity across large data sets
- Strong communication skills
