Schools Officer

**Your Role**: As the Schools Officer, you will perform a range of activities to ensure that the school is maintained to a high standard.
**Duties**:
- Attend to/or arrange repairs and maintenance within the school, including those which relate to classrooms, fences, pavers, gates and irrigation school facilities.
- Moving furniture/heavy items around the school and transporting classroom supplies to different locations within the school.
- Support with a variety of security duties at the school that involve using and maintaining the school security systems; banking of school funds and locking and unlocking buildings (within core hours).
- Communicate and discuss with Principal/Business Manager or nominated delegate on matters regarding periodic maintenance of facilities.
Other details
- When working in regulated employment an employee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
- This is a OO2 progression position as per the Role Description. The successful applicant will be appointed to the OO2 classification with eligibility for progression to the OO3 level once specific criteria have been met. Please note salary rate shown is reflective of OO2 to OO3 classification range.
