Join an independent Federal Government agency dedicated to improving the safety and quality of services provided to those living with significant or permanent disabilities.

**Your new role**
- Interpreting, drafting and reviewing policy and procedural issues with relevant business areas and key stakeholders.
- Contributing to the planning and implementation of departmental policies and objectives.
- Drafting reports, briefing papers, agendas, minutes, speeches, Ministerial correspondence and discussion papers.
- Conducting research and analysis to inform policy development and support implementation.
- Tailoring written and verbal communications for a variety of audiences, providing advice on complex issues.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, participate in committees and forums.
- Identifying emerging issues across mainstream interfaces and suggesting potential solutions.

**What you'll need to succeed**
The successful applicant will need a background in policy development, implementation and review with the ability to interpret legislation, conduct research and analyse data to inform the process. They will be skilled when it comes to tailoring written and verbal communications to the relevant audience and engaging with a wide range of both internal and external stakeholders. They will be well equipped to confidently identify emerging issues and provide policy and other advice.
