**Discover the Opportunity**
The role of the Procurement Specialist - Indirects is to develop and execute best in class procurement processes to drive effective sourcing strategies and contract management aligned with the Opal Group strategic priorities and business needs. You will have an analytical approach to procurement with a passion for stakeholder engagement.
**Reporting to the Senior Category Manager, you will be responsible for**:
- Conduct strategic sourcing projects and negotiations for Indirects related categories. Categories may include Professional Services, Travel, Marketing, Audit and Insurance.
- Manage supply base and stakeholders of existing agreements.
- Sourcing and management of other Indirect categories as required.
- Manage spend compliance and leakage reporting.
- Establish and maintain strong and efficient communication networks throughout ANZ regional businesses.
**Discover Yourself**
There’s no doubt about it; you are a supply chain / procurement excellence guru. You have a passion for improving processes and reducing cost. You know what great looks like (because you have seen it before) and you have;
- Relevant degree or diploma - Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain Management or Commerce.
- Minimum 4 years relevant procurement and supply chain experience.
- Managed significant category in excess of $50M.
- Knowledge of procurement concepts and processes.
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
- Effective stakeholder management skills.
- Obtaining, analysing and drawing conclusions from complex business and market data.
- Experience utilising SAP Ariba.
