**This Opportunity**:
An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our dynamic and supportive team to take ownership for providing talent acquisition services across various functions and branches. The role partners with hiring managers to understand business and talent needs and works proactively to find talent solutions.

The position is based in Palladium’s Brisbane office.

**Reporting Lines**:
The position reports into the HR Director, APAC.

**Primary Roles and Responsibilities**:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be expected to undertake internal and external talent identification and attraction activities, which include:

- Stakeholder management and delivery:_
- Commit to the delivery of company and regional objectives (Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)) ensuring that personal KRAs are delivered with excellence and timeliness.
- Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to build a diverse talent pipeline for current and future roles within the APAC region. Build and maintain long-standing networks and relationships with potential talent within the industry and develop processes for attracting that talent into Palladium as required.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to understand hiring trends, challenges, and leading practices in the APAC region. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in talent acquisition (including the use of technology and AI), incorporating new ideas and approaches into the recruitment strategy.
- Establish strong relationships with hiring managers within APAC Corporate and HR leads across the region to understand their talent needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions.
- Develop a deep understanding of the specific requirements of each role, including necessary skills, experience, capabilities and cultural fit.
- Regularly attend and contribute to HR and recruitment meetings, providing updates on talent acquisition efforts and gaining insights into ongoing hiring needs.
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with company policies, employment laws, and ethical standards, maintaining the integrity of the recruitment process.
- Represent Palladium at job fairs, networking events, and other recruitment-related activities, promoting the company as an employer of choice.
- Coordinate recruitment activities for APAC’s intern program, Early Career Program and Indigenous recruitment and onboarding program.
- Coordinate the internal resource allocation process for APAC, working closely with the HR Director and regional leadership team to determine current and future workforce needs, considering the region’s business development and project pipeline.
- Provide recruitment advice to APAC’s diverse range of project teams to ensure that Palladium’s project recruitment processes are leading practice, consistent and aligned with Palladium’s global approach.
- Contribute to and implement Diversity & Inclusion objectives as part of the Global and APAC EDI Strategies.
Collaborate with APAC and global HR and talent acquisition colleagues; align activities and objectives with the APAC Human Capital Strategy; and collaborate on regional and global projects where required.
- Relationships, Communication & Development:_
- Build strong and trusted stakeholder relationships across the business and maintain professional, respectful and effective relationships with your colleagues.
- Communicate effectively to provide regular updates to the HR Director and hiring managers, addressing any concerns or issues and ensuring transparency and efficiency in the recruitment process.
- Train, mentor and coach more junior colleagues, supporting them to work through ambiguity and ensuring messages from leadership are supported and clearly cascaded.
- Self-evaluate quality of work, thrive on continuous improvement, encourage and value feedback from others and develop skills in providing balanced feedback to others.
