Our opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Capital Allocation to join our Sydney Team. Working within the Capital Allocation team (Group Advisory Services) the role will focus on providing timely and quality analysis, financial modelling and supporting the business in making allocation decisions

**Your responsibilities are but not limited to**:
Support in the delivery of annual capital plan to convert Mirvac’s strategic goals into capital allocation decisions. Including but not limited to; sub-sector portfolio analysis, benchmark return analysis, financial and non-financial comparisons, development pipeline analysis, asset divestment plans.
Review and prepare analysis on potential acquisition opportunities and fit with capital allocation strategy
Quarterly forecast and budget analysis for Mirvac Group (including but not limited to profit movements, cashflow, IRR, lot settlements, capital, ROA,)
Creation and maintenance of additional tools to assist in the ongoing allocation of capital across Mirvac’s various product lines
Provide financial analysis and information for Board, ELT and senior management presentations
Provide analysis and information required to address questions raised by external analysts. Work independently to manage external consultants to provide information / undertake analysis, drive overall input and outputs
Ad hoc analysis for CFO & National Manager, Capital Allocation including profit, project specific queries, interest, cash, capital, scenario modelling, and new business impact
Ongoing special projects including, but not limited to, reporting template improvement and development, presentations, financial modelling, assist in financial systems improvement
Prepare, evaluate, and synthetize feasibility reports to understand the financial impacts and assess the returns / risks.
New modelling and management of existing models within Capital Allocation
Preparation of board documents and presentations to ELT and the board.
Influencing and driving group capital allocation policy to instigate change across the group, changes in methodology/policy (including but not limited to implementation and creation of the risk matrixes used by teams to benchmark return hurdles, redefining how to apportion returns to different sectors, deciding what WACC is appropriate in the case of ELT LTI, deciding how to best calculate WACC, working with GM’s to decide what returns are used across the group for decision making processes)
Project Management of projects across Capital Allocation
Process Improvement Management - use strong decision making skills and manage information to improve Mirvac processes
Stakeholder Engagement and support - Engage with and support teams across the group to deliver on projects (e.g, HR LTI calculations, IIP Strategy, New Business Forum etc)
Senior Executive support - provide analysis and commentary on various papers supporting the CFO and ELT.
