Analyst, Capital Transactions

Our opportunity

We have a new opportunity for a Analyst, Capital Transactions to join our Sydney Team. You will be responsible for the successful delivery of real estate transactions on behalf of Mirvac and Mirvac Capital Partners which have a wide range of investment mandates via Mirvac. You will manage all aspects of sourcing and completing acquisitions, managing disposals, coordinating due diligence, financial and market analysis.

**Your responsibilities are but not limited to**:
Analysing financial and operational performance of assets for the purpose of acquisitions, disposals and development opportunities
Responsible for financial modelling of cashflows/valuations using Excel and Cougar/Forbury and ensuring returns are in line with Mirvac return hurdles
Responsible for providing guidance and relevant information on property valuation assessments and working with appropriate internal and external stakeholders to provide valuation support (comparable transactions and rents, future trends, land use etc)
Assist with transactional due diligence, data room management and preparation and provide written and verbal communication of results and findings
Assisting with the management of consultants, including legal advisers, agents and valuers
Assist with the preparation of marketing material and proposals, transaction budgets and programs
Ensure compliance with internal and regulatory processes and reporting requirements, including preparation of, New Business Forum, Investment Committee and/or Mirvac Group Board approval papers and presentations
Working collaboratively with the Integrated Investment Portfolio division and Development division to assist with portfolio strategy execution of office, retail and industrial assets
Work with asset management teams to ensure effective administration of new acquisitions or
disposals
Working in partnership with key stakeholders and Business units including Legal, Tax, Company
Secretariat, Capital Allocation, Group FP&A, Finance and Research to assist with the execution function of
Capital Transactions for both acquisitions and disposals
Developing commercial relationships with external parties including capital partners, valuers, agents and industry consultants
Responsible for being aware of current market activity trends, collating sales evidence and updating the transaction database
Assisting Senior Management in the assessment and implementation of new business opportunities including product development, debt and capital management and corporate projects (e.g., budgets, redevelopment, etc.) as required
Assisting with any special projects or undertaking any other duties as reasonably required

**Your point of difference**:
Relevant tertiary qualification in Property, Land Economics, Business or Commerce is highly desirable
Experience in a medium to large organisation
Cougar/Forbury experience preferred but not essential
High level of IT proficiency i.e. Microsoft Office package - advanced Excel skills and Cougar experience is highly desirable
Highly organised and strong attention to detail
