Product Samples Specialist

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

The **Product Samples Specialist**is responsible for managing production and delivery of toy samples for category brands to support the Global Samples & Trade Marketing presentations for all global presentations, events and offices.

**Main responsibilities include**:

- Coordinate the production stages & progress of product and packaging for existing & developing product seasons and track & monitor tooling status and sample availability throughout production process.
- Work cooperatively with Global Samples & Trade Marketing teams alongside Design, Marketing & Production stakeholders with regards to:
- Industry trade shows, showrooms previews, adjunct presentations.
- Direct To Retail (DTR), International retailer & customer presentations, planograms, showroom refreshes and events.
- Global Marketing, PR and Sales events.
- Product, lifestyle and TV commercial photography.
- Licensor, inventor, customer service requirements.
- Influencer & media milestones, including award submissions;
- Provide briefs on brand category packaging mockups.
- Oversee & monitor samples volumes and ordering execution of all in-production items and assist with delivery of samples to all required business units.
- Develop & distribute global samples forecasts for individual markets.
- Provide financial reporting on development model expenditure against approved budgets.
- Establish & contribute to lead time schedules for samples and events.
- Manage creation & maintenance of SKU lists for sample requests.
- Oversee set up and maintenance of seasonal model & asset tracker database.

**ABOUT YOU**
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar administrative or support position, preferably within a product or design team.
- Understanding of creative design and manufacturing processes (toy industry or similar preferred).
- Exposure to Events/Trade Shows an advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Team collaboration with a “can-do” attitude - no task is too big or small.
- A working knowledge of the product development process.
- Medium to Advanced Excel capability (V-lookups, formulas, data entry and manipulation).
- A working knowledge of Adobe creative suite, specifically Adobe Illustrator.
- An ability to adhere to, and motivate others to, follow strict deadlines.
