Our client are a National client and have grown to be one of the largest forklift and transport companies in Australia.

Due to growth they are current seeking a National Transport Manger reporting to the Group MD.

You will be responsible for the effective management of the daily operations of the transport department ensuring customer service standards, financial budgets and compliance and statutory requirements are met.

**To be successful**:

- **Previous work history in Fleet Management (ideally with Forklifts and heavy equipment) with a mechanical background**:

- **Previous management experience with proven ability to lead a team (ideally drivers)**:

- **Previous experience as a heavy vehicle driver with roll on/roll off experience**:

- **Experience with NHVR compliance, Mass, Maintenance and fatigue**:

- **Sound written and verbal communication skills with a numerical aptitude are essential**:

- **Strong MS Office Skills**:

- **Are a solution finder with a can do attitude**
