This is a critical role within Optus Small Business, with overall accountability for the Small Business segment performance. You will be responsible for understanding all aspects of the performance, including the customer and financial results, and most importantly, drive a clear action plan on how we can improve.
Your day to day will consist of...
Customer performance and analysis. Using insights to deliver a strong segment understanding and key analysis to know how we can drive key customer and financial drivers. Owning forums & processes such as weekly segment trade, BPR’s & AOP to always have a finger on the pulse of performance drivers, opportunities & risks.
Segment P&L performance. Partnering with the commercial and product teams, this role is accountable for the segment P&L performance, developing a deep understanding of all the levers to lift performance across customer, revenue and cost measures.
Segment initiative execution and delivery. Where relevant, and with a P&L focus, this role will support the delivery of Small Business segment initiatives and offers (product, service, marketing and base) that go out to the market from Optus - demonstrating the GTM Operations team to implement in a seamless way.
What makes you perfect for the role?
Extensive experience across the key areas of role Performance analysis, PnL management, customer insights and/or financial/Commercial management
Sophisticated knowledge of Visualisation techniques and tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik, etc)
Sound data wrangling and performance tuning skills (e.g. SQL, Alteryx, etc)
Prior experience working in a large organisation highly regarded
