**About the role**:
In this position you will be part of the payroll team, with specific responsibility for managing Workers’ Compensation pays for Warrigal. The position manages the processing and reconciliation of wages for employees who are on workers compensation at Warrigal and assist with the functions of the fortnightly payroll.
This is a permanent part time position at 30 hours per week (Monday to Thursday).
**To be successful you will need**:
- Minimum 2 years experience in processing and manual calculation of workers compensation pays
- Experience in using HRIS system incorporating payroll (Preferred Payglobal)
- Ability to work with our Workers Compensation Agent and Insurance Broker to ensure correct payments to employees
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of the principles of workers compensation.
- Excellent office based computer skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, oral communication skills and ability to liaise at all levels of the organisation
- Ability to work well autonomously and within a team
- Understanding of payroll processes such as payroll rules, award interpreter, and interrelationship between Payglobal modules.
- Experience with Enterprise Agreements and the relevant legislation
