**The Opportunity**

South Australian Research and Development Institute (SARDI) is seeking to recruit a highly motivated and committed Business Manager to become an integral member of the Research Support team.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, Research Support, the Business Manager will be instrumental in providing effective management, operational planning, process improvement and business functions across SARDI.

To be successful in this role, you will need to forge and sustain deep, trusted partnerships coupled with your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively across the department, government, and industry with key internal and external stakeholders.

It’s a dynamic and challenging role that would suit someone who is passionate about making a difference and has experience in managing a small team, project coordination, planning and coordinating the conduct of audits and reviews, business improvement and change management processes.

**Special Conditions and Requirements**
- Possession of a current driver’s license and willingness to drive, including frequent travel to other SARDI sites.
- Out of hours work and inter / intrastate travel may be required.
- Australian residency or current works permit is required (responsibility of applicant to provide evidence of a current work permit).
- The incumbent will be required to undertake emergency management training and must be willing to participate in emergency preparedness, response and recovery activities required by government agencies.
- Successful applicant will be required to satisfactorily complete a National Police Check (NPC) prior to being made an offer of employment.

**Remuneration**

ASO6 - $98,478 min - $104,165 max per annum, plus superannuation
