Reporting directly to the General Manager, this position will see you drive the performance of Front Office Operations.

**What will you do?**
- Handles all guest or owner complaints immediately in a friendly manner
- Works with the General Manager to ensure a fair and equitable distribution of revenue to all unit owners
- Build and foster a strong relationship with all key stakeholders
- Maintain a strategic business perspective - be adventurous in seeking
opportunities to build and retain owner and guest business within the
Property
- Supervision, support and training of Front Office Team Members to ensure standards and procedures are observed to provide a consistent, high level of service for all guest contact
- Work operationally in the Front Office as dictated by trading patterns and when required
- Lead by example in providing passionate, knowledgeable and friendly
service to external and internal guests at all times
- Supervise the reservation area ensuring maximum yield is achieved at all times
- Recommends and implement strategies to improve guest comfort
- Prepares schedules for renovation of guest rooms, in conjunction with
Housekeeping and Maintenance Managers as required
- Work closely with the Housekeeping Manager and Maintenance Manager to ensure a changeover of rooms within specified timeframes
- Prepares accurate weekly, monthly and yearly reports as required
- Involvement in the preparation of yearly forecasts of occupancy and
revenue in conjunction with relevant Department Heads and Revenue
representatives
- End of Month accounting procedures and Trust accounting procedures are completed accurately, in a timely manner and in accordance with relevant legislation
- Coordinate strategies to rectify over-booking
- Involvement in preparation of monthly objectives of occupancy and room revenue

**What do you need?**
- 2-5 years proven experience of incremental responsibility within a
hotel/resort environment.
- Experience can be at an operational level or in a managerial capacity OR Proven experience in similar position within a hotel/resort environment advantageous
- Self-motivated with genuine passion for hospitality and guest experience
- Experience supervising, training and motivating staff
- Excellent computer system skills, familiarity with Success Factors and
SIHOT advantageous
- Excellent time management and communication skills including rapport building between internal and external stakeholders
- Proven ability to act independently on all matters relating to team and
guest safety and wellbeing in the absence of senior management
- Confident and articulate communication, negotiation, relationship and networking skills
- Ability to think strategically and plan on a mid to long term scale
- Strong personal integrity
- Entrepreneurial spirit with drive, ambition and high level of energy
