We are seeking a hands-on, professional Duty Manager to join our leadership team, a leading serviced apartment hotel in the Quest network.

You will oversee the day-to-day front office operations, ensure exceptional guest service, and support in driving team performance, operational excellence, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily front office operations including check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and guest enquiries.

Lead, coach, and motivate reception and front office staff to deliver outstanding customer service consistent with the Quest Way.

Ensure smooth communication between Reception, Housekeeping, and Maintenance teams to achieve operational efficiency.

Conduct daily audits, prepare rosters, and manage labour costs within budget.

Handle guest feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

Support in business development initiatives, guest satisfaction, and local marketing activities.

Perform after-hours management duties and act as the property’s relief manager when required.

Maintain compliance with all Quest operational, safety, and reporting standards.

About You:
You are a confident hospitality professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys both team leadership and guest engagement.

You will bring:
2+ years of experience in hotel front office or guest service (supervisory experience preferred).

Strong organisational and time management skills.

Proven ability to lead, train, and inspire a small team.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.

Proficiency in MS Office and hotel property management systems (RMS knowledge advantageous).

A polished, professional presentation and a passion for hospitality.

Qualifications:
Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality, Business, or Tourism (preferred).

Current Australian working rights.

Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $73,009.00 - $80,000.00 per year
