**The Opportunity**
Hitachi has an opportunity for an individual to join the team in the position of Service Administrator. Based in Brisbane, you will provide administrative support to the Service Supervisors and assist with engaging with customers. The role will process service and warranty work orders ensuring claim ratios are to target and aged WIP is kept to a minimum. Main responsibilities include:
- Work order preparation and timely closure for all service invoicing
- Opening and closing monthly reoccurring service jobs
- Processing warranty to meet OEM deadlines
- Maintenance of local databases to track WIP
- Assist with building, plant and tool maintenance
- Payroll support and timesheet entry
- Purchase order and invoice processing
- Compile information required for internal & external audits
- Previous experience in a similar service administrative function within an industrial business (preferred but not essential
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated MS Office experience, including Word and Excel (experience in MS Dynamics is preferable but not essential)
- The ability to work overtime as required in peak periods (eg: end of month)
- The ability to be adaptable and work in a fast paced environment
