**The Role**

This is a permanent position for a Finance Officer which reports directly to the Finance Manager.

The role is varied and challenging with key day to day duties including:

- Processing accounts payable and receivable for one main subsidiary
- Re-evaluations in USD and Euro
- Chasing any unpaid debts and supporting customers with issues
- Accounts receivable invoicing, reporting and payment allocations
- Month end reconciliations
- BAS reporting
- Bank reconciliations
- Providing general support to the Finance Manager
- Maintaining stock and inventory spreadsheets
- Monthly account statement generation

Initial sourcing and shortlisting will take place from early August with interviews commencing on Tuesday the 9th of August.

Overall, this is a great role for a Finance Officer, Bookkeeper or Assistant Accountant who is looking for a challenging role with a great mid sized employer.

**Your Profile**

You will have a background in accounting with a minimum of 1-2 years experience in a similar position. The following attributes will also be highly advantageous:

- Experience working in the Australian market
- Permanent residency or citizenship is preferred
- Must be comfortable commuting to Melbourne's west 3-4 days per week as a minimum
- Prior base level experience with Accounts Payable, Receivable and general Bookkeeping
- Stable career history and strong communication skills
- Knowledge and understanding of GST, BAS, PAYG, debits and credits
