In this role, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Cure Cancer in their clear mission to stop deaths from all types of cancer. **About The Role**

In this role, you will manage the general and community fundraising portfolio which will include creating strategic frameworks with the Head of Fundraising, driving new fundraising initiatives, leading community fundraisers, and creating and testing digital communication journeys. You will be responsible for designing journeys that support members of the public who are fundraising through our campaigns and also their events via communications, marketing materials, and most importantly motivation. You will drive the success of signature peer-to-peer campaigns that includes the BarbeCURE, Swim for a Cure, and all other challenges that support fundraising.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Build and grow existing partnerships and community fundraising initiatives in collaboration with the fundraising, marketing and operations teams.
- Accountability in delivering fundraising targets, quarterly and annually driven by campaigns or other fundraising initiatives.
- Manage and grow the community fundraising pipeline, ensuring best practice donor care strategies implemented for across each community fundraising offering
- Working with the fundraising team to help identify and support initiatives leading to increases in Cure Cancer becoming the ‘charity of choice’ for third party and participation based activities
- Working with Head of Fundraising to ensure the income and expenditure budgets are aligned with forecasts across all campaigns and community fundraising initiatives, delivering appropriate reporting with focus on ROI per revenue stream
- Ensure all community fundraising activities are implemented and managed within legislation compliance, internal procedures and policies and due diligence processes are followed
- Build strong relationships with key supporters to maximise fundraising results and ensure expectations are met and objectives are aligned with the organisation
- Attend community fundraising engagement events throughout the year to develop relationships with community fundraisers

**Skills & Attributes**
- Demonstrated experience and skills in relationship building with a variety of stakeholders, customers, team members, fundraisers and third party suppliers
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to negotiate, be persuasive, develop trust and maintain effective working relationships
- Exceptional written skills and the ability to engage supports, donor’s and community fundraisers
- Demonstrated ability to work to deadlines and budget requirements; and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a proven eye for detail
- Capacity for creative, innovative and dynamic thinking
- Capacity to work under pressure and to tight timelines and with adaptability when required to achieve the optimum business outcome
- Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends events; and able to travel interstate when required

- Minimum 3+ years experience in a similar community or campaign fundraising role
