**About the role**:
With a significant pipeline of opportunities identified across the Transport and Technology sectors, UGL are seeking to appoint an experienced Warehouse Manager working in the major projects space based in Melbourne:
Some of the key responsibilities but not limited to:
- Manage all Warehouse/Stores staff engaged in day-to-day logistic activities
- Develop, implement & maintain standards of operation for the warehouse
- Liaise with the Construction team members with regards to the receiving, storage, and distribution of all electrical, mechanical and general stores items on a daily basis
- Liaise with Purchasing/Expediting Team with regards to deliveries and orders as required
- Maintain physical inventory (on and off site) Coordination and maintenance of all relevant KPI reporting mechanisms.
- Provide a safe working environment, adhering to Health, Safety and Environmental procedures and ensuring they are always understood and practiced by the team.
- Manage and control order picking, goods in, goods out operations to ensure accuracy with minimum handling and stock damage.
- Maintenance of operational KPI’s and productivity measurements required to meet financial / customer service targets.
- Provide various reports for the Warehouse activities
**About You**
- Proficient skills in computers i.e., Microsoft office with intermediate skills in excel including a strong proficiency in Inventory management software, WASP experience desirable
- 10 years’ experience in a supply chain / warehousing / logistics environment
- A strong commitment to WH&S policies and procedures
- Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced environment with multiple and competing demands.
- Well organised and meticulous in the management of filing and execution of procedures
- Strong communication skills (oral & written) including the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally
- Current Forklift, Drivers and Pickers License (preferred or essential)
- Military background would be beneficial
