Exciting opportunity to join a growing Australian business working as a Warehouse Supervisor in Botany

**Your new company**

We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Supervisor position at our South Sydney Warehouse. You will be part of a dedicated team managing all Warehouse & Distribution functions. This role requires active engagement on the warehouse floor from Monday to Friday, between 7 am and 5 pm, with occasional work on Saturdays.

**Your new role**
- Managing the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure accurate inventory control and adherence to best practices for inbound and outbound operations.
- Processing sales orders, including picking, packing, labelling, and shipping, while maintaining a schedule.
- Keeping stakeholders informed about freight-related matters.
- Maintaining precise and strict inventory controls
- Supervising, delegating tasks, and providing training to the team.
- Overseeing shipping and receiving activities and collaborating with transport companies.
- Managing the ordering and tracking of consumables.
- Conducting spot checks, stock takes, and performance management tasks.
- Operating warehouse equipment, such as vehicles, efficiently and without causing damage.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Strong customer focus, prioritising customer satisfaction.
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Preferred possession of a current forklift licence and car licence.
- Effective communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to provide clear direction and make informed decisions under pressure.
- Excellent time management skills for efficient task prioritisation and meeting deadlines.
- Creative and innovative thinking to contribute ideas for process improvement.
- Excellent leadership skills to motivate and guide the team.
- Direct working knowledge of operations, warehouse management, and operations management.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel, and previous experience using Warehouse Management Systems.
