About the role

A family owned construction company is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Construction/administration Hand to join our team on a part time basis. In this key role, you will be responsible for providing administrative and site specific support to our director, ensuring the efficient day to day running of the business.

What you'll be doing
- quotations
- Inventory and material management including purchase and delivery’s.
- Site inductions and tool box talks
- Test and tag register and governance
- Safe Work Method Statements and clerical safety frameworks
- Maintain a centralised contracts management system, including filing and archiving documents
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external clients
- Provide day-to-day administration support
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures
- Some manual handling and site labour involved.

What we're looking for
- Individuals studying building and construction or a passionate individual looking to get their foot in the door.
- Valid NSW drivers licence
- White card
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft suite, particularly Excel and Word
- Proficient with the BlueBeam” program is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of basic construction safety principals

Pay: $42,760.00 - $45,000.00 per year
