**The Opportunity**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Design and build data solutions to tackle business challenges.
- Create and use AI solutions like; AI and machine learning models for predictions and analysis and Generative AI, LLMS.
- Work with different teams to find data-driven opportunities.
- Mentor junior data scientists and ensure data quality.
- Share findings clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.

**Required Skills and Experience**
- 7+ years of data science experience, with proven results.
- Skilled in technologies like; Python, R, and SQL for data analysis.
- Expert Knowledge of AI and machine learning and statistical methods.
- Experience with tools like Tableau for data visualisation.
- Familiarity with big data (e.g. Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure).

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative field (e.g. statistics, mathematics, computer science, economics) or equivalent experience.
- Certifications in data science or related fields, such as those from Coursera, edX, or the Data Science Council of America (DASCA), can demonstrate specialised expertise.
