**Opportunity**
In support of our business, we are currently seeking an Implementation Consultant to work within the Implementation Services arm of the HID Global Professional Services team. You will be actively engaged in some of the most complex and challenging Physical Identity and Access Management projects in the world. You will work in a dynamic environment with customers, partners as well as members from the worldwide Professional Services team and other HID Global departments.
**Overview**
**As our** Implementation Consultant,** you’ll support HID’s success by**:
- Master the capabilities of the system and advise customers on how to most effectively use the solution including modifying customers' existing processes, procedures, workflow, forms and content.
- Collaborate with the customer’s IT teams to ensure infrastructure is well defined and all required technical pre-requisites and clearly understood.
- Lead the implementation and optimization of HID SAFE products with clients, either onsite or online
- Collaborate with clients as needed for any of the following: software implementation, upgrade, problem resolution, enhancements, specialized reporting, training and rollout during the implementation of the product.
- Be able to identify gaps and translate business requirements into technical requirements/system requirements and guide offshore consultants.
- Inform client management and relevant personnel of project status.
- Ensure smooth go-live transitions by following HID SAFE method of procedures.
- Transition customers to support and make sure the transition is smooth and seamless.
- Identify opportunities to improve the system and disseminate client feedback to the relevant departments within the organization.
- Contribute to an environment that fosters collaboration and teamwork through sharing experiences, information, perspectives, skills, and expertise.
- Actively participate in the ongoing improvement of the HID SAFE product suite and the services implementation methodology to build and share repeatable processes and quality deliverables that may be leveraged across multiple projects to increase speed and reduce costs.
- Be a mentor and coach to other team members.
- Contribute to the collective learning of HID, seeking opportunities to identify and disseminate improvements to organizational methodology, processes, and practices.
- Contribute to the consultant toolset by identifying trends and support internal documentation, development projects, and process improvements.

**Qualifications**
- Strong inter-personal and communication skills in both spoken and written English to all management levels
- BSc (or equivalent education) in Computing, Physical Science or Engineering or at least 5 years of relevant industry experience, comfortable with business and technical aspects.
- Advanced technical and troubleshooting skills.
- Motivated, hard-working team player with initiative and able to self-manage.
- Good understanding of database schemas, queries, and data migration.
- Able to provide occasional support outside regular business hours.
- Strong business process, time management and analytical skills are essential.
- Programming fundamentals & experience with relational databases and data analysis is a plus.
- Ability to travel as needed.
**Language Skills**
- Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.
**Computer Skills**
- Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
