Summary
This role is responsible for delivering end-to-end technical consulting services, with a focus on solution certification, system integration, HID Origo SDKs, APIs, and secure deployments. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor to partners, ensuring that partner and enterprise solutions are validated, optimized, and production-ready.
As our
Technical Consultant
, you'll support HID's success by:
- Assist clients with integration of Mobile SDKs (Android & iOS) and Origo APIs.
- Collaborate with developers to implement or review new features and ensure alignment with certification criteria.
- Perform technical audits, interoperability testing, and security assessments.
- Provide hands-on guidance during deployment, troubleshooting, and optimization phases.
- Document technical requirements, validation outcomes, and best practices.
- Partner with internal teams (Product, Engineering, Security, Support) to ensure consistent delivery standards.
- Lead technical validation of partner and solutions for Solution Certification.
- Conduct developer enablement sessions and workshops when needed.
- Stay updated on platform changes, emerging technologies, and certification frameworks.

Education
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, BSc computer science or a related field.
- 1 – 3 years of experience in technical consulting, solution engineering, or software integration.
Skills
Language Skills
- Ability to effectively communicate in the English languages, both verbally and in writing. Any other regional language is a bonus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.
Computer Skills
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Strong experience with RESTful APIs, mobile app development (Android & iOS), and cloud platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and client interaction skills.
- Experience with tools such as Postman, Git, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Support, Security, and Engineering teams
