We are seeking a skilled and experienced Site Manager with a strong trade background to lead on-site delivery across a variety of complex commercial construction projects.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing tertiary, government or institutional projects, demonstrate leadership in dealing with large PCG groups, and be proficient in digital site management tools such as Hammertech and Procore.

This role demands excellent communication, coordination, and quality assurance skills, with a strong focus on safety, program delivery, and stakeholder management.

  • Structured – Must be structured in their daily routines with pre start meetings, Maintaining ITPS, Quality Assurance and overall delivery on site
  • Safety Knowledge – Must be well informed of OHS Regulations and put into practice on their construction projects. Including safety awareness, required documentation, permits and reviewal of SWMS.
  • Must have experience with Procore and be proficient with Hammertech

Key Responsibilities:

1.Site Delivery & Coordination

  • Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring safety, quality, and program compliance.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labour efficiently.
  • Lead daily pre-starts, toolbox meetings and ensure clear communication across teams.

2.Site Management

  • Drive program adherence and manage site activities to meet key milestones.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and consultants to resolve design or buildability issues.
  • Implement and monitor short-term lookahead programs.
  • Conducts regular site inspections and quality control checks.
  • Conducts regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective measures as needed.

3.Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ)

  • Maintain a clean, compliant, and safe worksite in accordance with WHS legislation.
  • Utilise Hammertech to manage inductions, SWMS, and incident reporting.
  • Conduct regular quality inspections and proactively manage defects.
  • Implement and enforce site safety protocols and procedures to promote a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Conducting site inductions & Toolboxes for staff and sub-contractors
  • Maintain and complete ITP's, Work Permits, KPI's via Hammertech
  • Complete daily site diaries

4.Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Represent Izza Group professionally to clients, consultants, and PCG groups.
  • Support project reporting, attend site meetings, and maintain daily site diaries.
  • Ensure project stakeholders are kept informed of site progress and any disruptions.

5.Systems & Compliance

  • Accurately maintain project documentation via Hammertech
  • Ensure compliance with contractual, environmental, and legislative requirements.
  • Participate in audits and support continuous improvement practices.
