**About the role**

We are seeking a commercially minded and analytically driven professional to join SA Pathology as the Commercial Business Manager. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the financial oversight and strategic management of our Collection Centres, working closely with key stakeholders to drive improved performance and cost efficiency. You will play a crucial role in aligning operational outcomes with financial sustainability, ensuring that our commercial activities continue to support the broader objectives of SA Pathology.

Your day-to-day will involve translating complex financial data into actionable insights, offering commercially sound advice to guide business decisions, and leveraging tools like Power BI for advanced data analysis. You will also conduct financial and operational modelling to assess new business opportunities, service redesigns, and investment strategies. Additionally, you will review the financial viability of clinical trials and other commercial contracts, supporting the long-term success of SA Pathology’s diverse operations.

**About You**

You are a results-driven finance leader with a strong background in accounts receivable and revenue management within large-scale or healthcare environments. You bring a strategic mindset, proven leadership experience, and a strong commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality financial services in a complex setting.
- Extensive experience managing accounts receivable and implementing business process improvements across large or health sector organisations.
- Strong ability to analyse financial data, assess internal controls, and drive system integrity through strategic change and remedial action.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proven ability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership and external stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of billing, collections, reconciliation, and audit practices within systems-based financial environments.
