**About the role**

The Trainer and Assessor is responsible for providing high quality training and assessment services to build the capabilities of our students and the employers that we work with by planning, developing, delivering and reviewing training and assessment in line with the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA), State Training Regulators and Authorities, Training Packages and 3Bridges policies and procedures

This is a Full-time, Fixed term contract for 12 Months.
- Conduct training and assessment in aged care & disability accredited courses online, in the workplace and in classroom, in accordance with agreed schedules and training plans
- Conducts and records learner induction using RTO policy and procedures and develops and implements and maintains individual training plans to meet individual learning style and level of skills and knowledge
- Provides one-on-one tuition and regular checks on learners ensuring regular progression and completion
- Prepares for, conducts and documents training delivery and assessment procedures using approved training delivery plans
- Completes and maintains all training records accurately, documents assessment results and submits to the RTO for input into the LMS
- Evaluates the effectiveness of training and assessment activities, in terms of learners using what they learn to improve customer outcomes
- Keeps abreast of rules and regulations and accreditation procedures appropriate for the aged care/disability sector
- Participates in internal and external audits and undertakes follow up actions as required.
- Ensures compliance with regulations, policies and procedures and RTO KPIs
- Ensure Quality Assurance and Quality Management Standards are incorporated into service delivery

**About You**
- You hold TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or its successor)
- You have vocational qualifications (mapped or otherwise) at least to the level or higher of the qualification delivered and assessed
- You have demonstrated current knowledge of the VET sector, ASQA and the compliance framework that governs Registered Training Organisations
- You are keen to provide contributions to improvements of the RTO
- You are able to maintain currency of qualifications and relevant industry experience
