**About the role**:
Reporting to the Dispatch Team Leader, the Despatch Officer Lubricants is primarily responsible for managing dispatch process for packaged and bulk lubricants. This involves focussing on product availability, managing and dispatching orders, scheduling carriers, preparing dispatch paperwork and ensuring safe and reliable delivery. This role also involves managing customer expectations.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Plan and coordinate the scheduling and dispatching of packaged/bulk lubricants
- Monitor orders entered on relevant distribution centre to ensure accuracy of process and designated lead times
- Control the dispatch process and ensure compliance requirements are met under Dangerous Goods, Hazchem, COR and other statutory and legislative rules and regulations
- Working with the Lubricants Customer Service Representation and manage product return process

**About you**:
You fit well within a diverse team, with a positive can-do attitude and be an overall team player. You would have experience within a similar role in the Transport & Logistics arena. You have proven success in computer-based systems with exposure to using SAP. You will need to be adaptable and think outside the box. You will be an analytical thinker who thrives on problem solving.

**Key skills and experience**:

- Relevant experience within Transport and Logistics
- High level of attention to detail.
- High level problem solving.
- Ability to work proactively within a team environment.
- SAP and Microsoft Office literacy
- Good communications skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to work in a cross functional manner to ensure the best outcome
- Commercially minded with a strong focus on safety
- Customer service experience
