**The Role**
If you are an accomplished Administration Officer who can determine our stakeholders’ needs, support the delivery of branch outcomes and undertake work of a complex nature, then you are the person we are looking for.
As an Administration Officer you will be required to assist with the administration and configuration of the Navy’s Materiel Library (known as the N4 Library) within the Directorate of Navy Engineering Policy.
Some of the key responsibilities of the role:
- Coordinate administrative, stakeholder engagement and business support activities for a small team and other work areas, identify risks and determine appropriate course of action to meet stakeholder needs.
- Assist with complex procedural, operational, administrative, configuration management and business support activities and tasks that support the delivery of outcomes across the branch and greater Defence.
- Work collaboratively, build and sustain effective relationships, provide constructive feedback and challenge ideas.
- Resolve problems and implement alternative courses of action.
- Assist with the development and help implement procedural, operational, corporate, administrative, configuration management and business support documentation consistent with business requirements.
**About our Team**
The Directorate Navy Engineering Policy (DNEP) team are responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of Navy’s materiel policy set, policy advice and governance over Navy’s Technical Publications.
The nature of our work requires precise, accurate, timely and well documented practices and effective communication.
Experience in Policy development would be an advantage, but not a requirement.
This will include your excellent communication skills and ability to logically convey thoughts and ideas and your demonstrated ability to:
- Analyse, synthesise and present information.
- Manage and administer a number of concurrent processes whilst maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
- Nurture internal and external relationships to achieve effective outcomes.
- Integrating into a high performing and cohesive team.

You will also be able to demonstrate:
