**Who we are**
The Integrity Branch sets the integrity policy framework and works with stakeholders to build a pro‑integrity culture through positive workplace values and behaviours. The branch is responsible for the management of personnel security risk and works to prevent, detect and respond to internal fraud, corruption, suspected misconduct and insider threat.
The Integrity Strategy and Engagement Section is responsible for leading a program of internal and external engagement to strengthen the department’s integrity culture and supporting frameworks. The section ensures that the department has a contemporary, robust and tailored integrity framework in place together with supporting policies and processes, and leads regular reviews of the department’s integrity maturity, addressing identified gaps as required. It delivers a program of internal education and awareness campaigns on integrity matters (including on workplace behaviours, misconduct, fraud and corruption) and works with counterpart agencies to share lessons-learned to ensure strong integrity practice.
**The Jobs**
Key duties will include, but are not limited to:
- assisting with reviews of integrity frameworks and supporting the development and review of policies, processes and guidelines to ensure they are current and reflect the contemporary operating environment
- supporting the delivery of integrity awareness campaigns, roadshows and presentations for the department on integrity matters, including arranging and coordinating presentations, sessions and attendance
- contributing to the development of communication materials such as newsletters and webinars
- arranging, participating in and supporting internal and external meetings, committees and Communities of Practice in relation to integrity matters and programs, including developing professional relationships with key stakeholders inside and outside the department
- coordinating and preparing input to integrity reports, briefs, and papers to showcase the work of the branch
- supporting the work of other sections of the branch (as required) as well as the department’s Integrity Champion.
**Please note** that this recruitment process will initially be used to fill **three ongoing vacancies in the section**. The merit pool established through this selection process, which is valid for a period of eighteen months from the date the vacancy was advertised in the Public Service Gazette, may also be used to fill future ongoing vacancies in the branch where the duties are of a similar nature.

**Knowledge and experience**
- An understanding of integrity principles and/or prior experience in an integrity focused area would be advantageous but is not mandatory.
- Demonstrated policy and/or program experience.
- Experience engaging effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders and interest groups through a variety of forums.
- Experience in preparing high quality written communication including correspondence, agenda papers, briefs, discussion papers, meeting minutes and reports.
- Experience in strategy, policy development or a related role.
- Experience using graphic design software such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar would be advantageous but is not mandatory.
