**Your new company**
This State Government Statutory Authority is looking for a new Financial Operations Lead to join their team for a permanent opportunity. Seeking someone for a long term tenure, with experience in a service delivery environment, this opportunity comes with numerous employment benefits.
Your new role
This role has 2 direct reports, works as part of a larger finance team of 10+ people and helps to service surrounding business units. You'll over see both AP and AR, work with various business units to ensure data integrity, proper finance understanding and maintain working relationships. Additional responsibilities include the oversight of payroll processes on an ad-hoc leave cover basis.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Strong AR and AP experience
- Experience with Technology One, Oracle or SAP preferred but not essential
- Strong knowledge of bank reconciliations
- Strong experience in people management/leadership
- Experience with payroll preferable but not essential
- Focus on continuous improvement
