Job Description:
The Financial Operations Lead will be the key reporting, accounting and internal controls lead for regional operations outside of North America. This role works in partnership with various stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of financials and other required submissions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure period, quarter and year-end activities are completed on time.
- Conduct structured analysis/reconciliation to ensure quality of accounts.
- Provide Finance Manual analysis to support decision-making.
- Oversee implementation of control framework and controls testing plans.
- Partner with non-finance functions at the unit level that may impact finance.
What You'll Bring:
- University degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5+ years of accounting experience.
- CPA or other professional certification is an asset.
- SAP (ATLAS) experience and knowledge management or equivalent ERP system.
- High degree of attention to detail.
- Business partnership to understand business drivers of financial results.
