Our Insights and Data team helps our clients make better business decisions by transforming an ocean of data into streams of insight. Due to continued growth within Capgemini's Insights & Data practice we intend to recruit a Business Intelligence Lead with relevant consulting and communication skills. This role can be positioned to work from anywhere in Australia (Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, or Perth).

Let's talk about the role and responsibilities:

- Works constantly and efficiently with client stakeholders to understand and manage the business expectations and work assignment within the team
- Work with business teams to understand business process & collaborate on warehouse and reporting design to incorporate leading industry practices.
- Manages a delivery team (~6) and ensures the quality delivery of new developments, enhancement requests and production support issues.
- Provide the technical design, implementation, testing, and compliance for required solutions.
- Design and implement ETL scripts and data warehouse solutions.
- Has experience and understands reporting tools and solutions
- Monitor and ensure quality standards are adhered to during development and implementation.
- Document requirements, design and production support processes in relevant artefacts.
- Work in an environment which encourages team first mentality whilst also getting things done and done well. Demonstrate the ability to take things and run with them is vital.
- Strive to perform high quality outcomes to client and thereby ensure client satisfaction

Let's talk about your capability and experience:

- 10-12 years' experience in the Data and Analytics space; with a focus on design, development and implementation of business requirements with Microsoft SQL Server
- Has experience working in a production support environment
- Good working knowledge on data warehouse principals and understanding of dimensional modelling
- Experience in reporting tools
- Experience working in large programs of work leveraging software life cycle processes
- Adheres to DWH best practices as well as project-set design principles and standards to maintain stable BI environment.
- Strong communication skills
- Previous experience in stakeholder management is essential

Technical Skillset
- Expert in MS SQL Server suite of products like SSRS, SSAS and SSIS.
- Proficient with SQL Server tools, including Enterprise Manager, Management Studio, Query Analyzer, SQL Server Profiler and SQL Server Agent
- Experience with Business Objects
- Highly experienced in T-SQL - creating complex Tables, Views, Stores Procedures, Triggers and User Defined Functions, Indexes and Cursors to implement Business Logic and Data Protection.
- Knowledge of creating complex SSAS cubes with multiple fact measures groups, and multiple dimension hierarchies based on the OLAP reporting needs
