**About the organisation**
Development Victoria (DV) is a government agency partnering with industry leaders and local communities to deliver projects that make a genuine difference to the people of Victoria. At DV we reimagine iconic places like the Melbourne Arts Centre Precinct and State Basketball Centre, develop precincts like Docklands and Fitzroy Gasworks, and build affordable and diverse homes where they’re needed. DV brings the Victorian Government’s vision to life, turning policy into places, delivering a diverse range of property development and urban renewal projects across the state.

**About the role**
Reporting directly to the CEO as a part of DV’s executive leadership team, the Group Head Precincts leads the organisation in the planning and delivery of urban renewal projects through successful strategic and commercial management. In collaboration with colleagues across the organisation and a range of external stakeholders, the role is accountable for achieving commercial objectives in line with the corporate plan and government policy. Leading a large team and working with external partners to develop and implement strategies for precincts across Victoria, overseeing large programs of work with significant budgets, critical community engagement and cultural initiatives.

**About you**
As a proven leader in construction, infrastructure or property and land development, you have a record of achievement in both public and private sector contexts. With strong commercial acumen and an entrepreneurial mindset, you are confident in your abilities to engage and maintain networks at peak body level in government, industry and the community. You have particular strengths in negotiation, influencing, consultation and stakeholder engagement, and a proven ability to manage multiple projects and handle and prioritise complex issues within a fast-moving environment.
