**About the organisation**
Gidget Foundation Australia (GFA) is a not-for-profit organisation that exists to support the emotional wellbeing
of expectant and new parents, to ensure they receive timely, appropriate and specialist care. GFA provides a
range of specialist treatment programs including individual psychological consultations via face to face or
telehealth, group treatment and early intervention screening.***

**About the role**
Reporting to the People and Culture Director, the Volunteer Manager will contribute to the growth of Gidget
Foundation Australia by taking the lead on volunteer activities. Volunteers are at the heart of GFA, providing a
variety of significant support across the organisation. This newly created role is a fantastic opportunity for a
highly organised individual who is committed to making a positive impact and who enjoys working with
passionate and motivated volunteers.

**The day to day**
- Work across the organisation to implement the new volunteer strategy including the rollout of volunteer
- only based programs and initiatives.

- Be the point of contact for all volunteer program activities with various internal and external

stakeholders.

- Oversee and coordinate volunteer recruitment.
- Develop and maintain relationships with volunteer referral and peak bodies such as Volunteering NSW,

Volunteering Australia, and Centre for Volunteering.
- Prepare content for the quarterly newsletter with the aim of volunteer engagement, retention and

recognition.
- Maintain accurate records of all volunteers within the organisational CRM, Salesforce NFPSP.
- Ensure volunteer policies, processes, and procedures are up-to-date, relevant, and compliant.
- Develop quality monitoring or supervision processes to ensure the GFA standard of service delivery is

maintained whilst volunteering.

- **About You**
- You have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Volunteer Manager or similar role.
- You possess program or project implementation skills and exceptional organisational skills.
- You have excellent people management skills, and you can effectively lead groups of volunteers.
- Your communication skills are outstanding, and you can build and maintain collaborative and positive

relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

This position is 3 days per week and based in North Sydney, with some flexibility. The role is initially a 3-year
contract with the potential to extend dependent on funding.
