**The Project**

The Utilities business are the preferred contractor on two of the largest energy infrastructure projects within the Australian energy sector, one of these projects is located in Queensland and the other in New South Wales. These two exciting opportunities secure a pipeline of work until 2027 and include the design & construction of new transmission lines and substations.

**What will a day in this role look like**:

- Initially develop and implement, health and safety management plans, strategies and deliver initiatives that promote safety outcomes in the workplace by implementing safe work practices, policies and procedures
- Lead a site based health and safety team of professionals engaging with cross functional teams and stakeholders to ensure the effective management and control of high-risk construction work.
- Lead investigations, learning teams and system reviews to ensure best for project health and safety management and continuous improvement
- Manage emergency response and first aid capability, training, audit and assurance programs

**What are we looking for you to bring to the team**:

- You should be degree Qualified in Engineering or business
- Your 10+ years of knowledge and experience on $500m+ linier construction projects
- Experience in Health and Safety Management on major infrastructure projects in either Utilities, civil, roads or rail
- Demonstrated leadership capability managing geographically dispersed teams
