**Key Account Manager - Your future position?**
- Build current business and develop new business and external clients relations by securing briefs and identifying and responding to opportunities. Develop excellent internal client relationships in all main areas (Purchasing, Marketing and Technical) and at all levels within the organisation.
- Reporting to: Sales Manager, Taste & Wellbeing
- Working location: Baulkham Hills, Sydney
**Main Responsibilities**
- Deliver sales performance and achieving sales targets by working with the annual budget planned to achieve new wins
- Lead important projects and coordinating all the key departments to achieve project timelines and meet customer briefs
- Develop projects designed to win and retain new key accounts
- Introduce new products to potential or existing customers
- Manage key customer accounts by participating in project briefs and promoting customer relationships by understanding customer’s business and marketing strategies (e.g.: studying customer annual report)
- Manage accounts by developing projects following customer strategic direction (this includes forecasting and planning)
- Attend customer visits to service customer needs and promptly deal with issues or complaints
- Monitor competition movements and marketplace dynamics ensuring information is communicated with key company partners
- Prepare monthly sales forecast, reports and present new wins
- Follow up on customer payments
- Maintain project briefs in system
**Main Requirements**
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in food or relevant industries
- Education background in sales, marketing, business, food science or any relevant area
- Project management experience
