We are seeking an experienced and proactive **Insurance Broker (Account Manager)** to join our growing team.
**Salary Range**: $70,000 - $80,000 per annum
**Role**: Full-time
**Location**:Norwest, NSW 2153
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of insurance clients, particularly in the building and construction sector, including builders, contractors, and SMEs.
- Assess client risk profiles by evaluating financials, trading history, and operational exposure to recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
- Provide broking services focused on construction insurance, including HBCF and other specialist products tailored for the building industry.
- Offer risk management advice and compliance support to help clients maintain licensing and insurance eligibility.
- Prepare insurance documentation, policy schedules, quotations, and renewals in a timely and accurate manner.
- Negotiate competitive premiums and coverage terms with insurers to secure optimal outcomes.
- Maintain strong communication with clients, underwriters, financial advisors, and accountants to support renewals, claims, and new business.
- Assist clients with lodging and managing insurance claims, liaising with insurers and stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
- Ensure compliance with all legislative, regulatory, and company requirements.
- Stay updated with industry trends, insurance regulations, and product developments to provide proactive advice.
**Skills & Qualifications**:
- Master’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in insurance broking, account management, or financial services
- Strong knowledge of insurance products, underwriting principles, and risk assessment.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Proven ability to manage high-volume client portfolios and achieve performance targets.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and solution-focused.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with CRM or broking software (e.g., BEAT, CIMS, SAP ERP, Xero) is highly desirable.
