**Hiring: Experienced Part-time Accounts & Administration Assistant**

**Location**: Sydney
**Employment Type**: Part-time (2-4 days/week, flexible)

We are a friendly and detail-oriented small business seeking a **reliable, experienced, and well-organised** team member to join us as a **Part-time Accounts & Administration Assistant**.
This role combines **administrative support with basic accounting responsibilities**, ideal for someone with prior relevant experience who is looking for flexible working hours in a stable and supportive environment.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Administration & Reception**
- Answer phone calls and greet clients and visitors in a professional manner
- Manage mail, filing, calendar scheduling, and meeting preparation
- Assist with various general office administration tasks

**Accounting Support**
- Use **Xero** for data entry, invoicing, and payment processing
- Assist with **bank reconciliations, BAS preparation**, and **month-end processes**:

- Liaise with external accountants and help maintain accurate financial records

**Requirements**:

- **Previous experience in both administrative and accounting support roles is essential**:

- Proficient in **Xero** or similar accounting software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Competent with **Microsoft Office** (especially Excel and Outlook)
- Excellent attention to detail, highly organised, and able to work independently
- Must have a valid driver’s licence and access to a car
- Fluency in a second language (e.g., Mandarin, Vietnamese, or Korean) is a plus
