What does the job look like?

Join our retail business in a leadership role where you can make a meaningful impact by overseeing and managing the activities of our NSW Transport Operations. In this key position, you’ll work closely with our teams to champion safety, deliver exceptional service, and achieve cost efficiency.

This opportunity is ideal for a strategic thinker and collaborative leader who values building relationships and influencing outcomes positively. You’ll inspire your team by fostering a supportive and high-performing culture, driving accountability, and encouraging innovation.

Key Areas:

- Participating and committing to Safety Standards and COR requirements at all times
- Responsibility for the financial performance of the contract, ensuring agreed measures for profitability and other key performance indicators for the contract are met
- Driving productivity to maximise resources throughout the state, control costs and maintain a focus on strategic initiatives
- Developing strong partnerships between operational, resourcing and planning teams to ensures maximum utilisation of staff, equipment and facilities
- Enhance customer relationship through understanding customer needs, regular personal contact and demonstrating a genuine interest in customer welfare and success
- Lead and inspire a team of transport professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement

- Demonstrable achievements in transportation operations leadership positions in a multi-site business
- Strong financial and analytical skills with high level attention to detail
- Highly developed decision-making capability, competence in making timely and effective decisions, with an ability to identify opportunities for improvement and commitment to drive outcomes
- Experience in reporting to senior managers and customers on all aspects of workplace performance
- Highly developed computer literacy skills
