We have an excellent opportunity for two dynamic, enthusiastic and self-motivated Brand Managers to join our Category and Marketing Team. The team is made up of highly driven individuals who play a central role in supporting our brand portfolio coupled with building insight plans for strategic growth.

**Description**:
Reporting to the Marketing and Category Manager, both Brand Managers will play a critical role within the broader team to build strong brand plans and then being able to translate these into actionable activities throughout the broader market place, centred on the 4 key core business pillars.

**Key Responsibilities will include**:

- Support the development of the respective brand plans, with a particular focus on the co-ordination of market and competitor data, performance data and relevant consumer insights.
- Translate plans into active executional plans which can be fully leveraged by all stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with the Insights team to identify clear opportunities to further develop our brand portfolio, proactively using this information to support all key initiatives
- Assist the team with the preparation of detailed monthly brand, market and competitor reports including brand health measures, profitability, and ROI on key investments.
- Take responsibility for the respective marketing budget and ensuring all key opportunities are mapped out in advance with the aim of leveraging it fully through the respective consumer and customer channels.
- Establish strong connections with the respective customer teams to ensure the brands are leveraging both the above and through the line investment to maximise our ROI.
- Gain a greater understanding of how the shopper makes their choices at shelf with the aim of ensuring our brands remain relevant to them, address current & future need states.
- Work closely with the creative team to ensure the brands are represented in all forms of activation to the highest of standards.
- Develop and establish clear brand standards which sets the tone for the brands moving forward, ensuring all forward briefs are clear and follow the set brand standards.
- Post activity analysis to ensure investment generates an appropriate ROI.
- Effectively prioritise high priority/high return projects aligned to in year category & business priorities.
- Take a proactive position on future innovation and ensuring solutions deliver tangible growth to the brand and category. Leverage recent and consumer macro trends to ensure there is a strong pipeline for future growth and turn these insights into tangible opportunities
- Drive commercial solutions which grow both sales, margins and market share within the respective categories.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Proven brand management or buying experience in FMCG/Retail
- A strong understanding of consumer buying behaviour.
- Good understanding of the FMCG market.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a matrixed environment.
- Customer-focused - tenacious about understanding consumer behaviour and passionate about delighting customers at every touch point they have.
- You can influence effectively across cross-functional teams and work collaboratively to deliver results and “win together”.
- Analytical mindset - be able to support your case for change with data, and structure tests that deliver conclusive and actionable outcomes. Continuously learn with rapid experimentation.
- Sound ability to collect, analyse and present complex data and information effectively to support decision making and action planning
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to provide authoritative advice, influence and negotiate with a diversity of internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Highly developed planning and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and delegate tasks to achieve objectives and KPIs
- Demonstrated record in delivering continuous improvement initiatives in a complex operating environment.
- Ability to adapt positively to changing conditions or unexpected obstacles.
- Ability to operate at a strategic level and be hands on
