**Maintenance Fitter - Qualified**

We have an IMMEDIATE vacancy for a qualified Maintenance Fitter to work in Wacol, Brisbane.

This is a full-time day shift role.

Responsibilities include.
- **Trouble shooting, repair and maintenance and PM on various equipment**
- **Routine shutdowns and machinery installation & commissioning**
- **Shut down work** at predetermined intervals.
- **Fabrication & welding - TIG | MIG**
- **Machining & Lathe work**
- Strong commitment to OHS - JSA's, permit systems.
- Read | understand and working off drawings.

Qualification& Experiences
- **Trade qualification** as a mechanical fitter and turner
- **Forklift** **licence.**
- Sound **manufacturing maintenance experience.**
- Hands on experience in **pneumatics** and **hydraulics**
- **Good knowledge of repairs to pumps and valves.**
- **Quick learner** with an enthusiastic attitude
- Good **communication **skills
- **Machining / welding / fabrication** knowledge
- Able to meet deadlines.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $53.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Fitter: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Fitter qualification or Trade certificate (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Work Location: In person
