Our client is Australia’s largest meat and food processing company, operating across Australia and New Zealand. This role will be responsible for solely providing preventative maintenance support across the production plant. This includes technical breakdown problem solving, improvements and preventative maintenance tasks.

**PAY**: Level 5 Maintenance Tradesperson (Advanced I) - $39.41 / Level 6 Maintenance Tradesperson (Advanced II) - $46.13 plus OT & Super

**LOCATION**: Wacol, QLD

**Hours**: Monday to Friday - Day or Arvo shifts

**ABOUT THE JOB**:
To ensure maximum equipment uptime is achieved by providing effective and efficient mechanical preventative and breakdown maintenance.
Providing mechanical support to day shift and afternoon shift as required.
Ensure that all mechanical work is carried out to meet the Company safety and housekeeping requirements and conforms to all relevant regulations.
Demonstrate problem solving skills to identify and troubleshoot faults to rectify problems.
Be a proactive team member who shows initiative to build on cultural change improvements to create a stress-free environment

**THE ESSENTIALS YOU MUST HAVE TO BE CONSIDERED**:
Certificate III Mechanical Fitter Trade Qualifications
Certificate IV Engineering Mechanical or Hydraulics or Pneumatics is an advantage but not essential
Ability to MIG and TIG Weld Stainless steel highly desired
Effective and efficient fault finding and diagnostic skills
Experience in maintenance/repair in a fast-paced modern manufacturing environment FMCG (food experience would be highly regarded although not essential)
Strong team player, motivated and positive attitude
