**The Opportunity**

Due to strong growth, our **Brisbane Remanufacturing** **branch** has an exciting opportunity for a trade qualified **Heavy Diesel Fitter / Fitter Machinist / Light Vehicle Mechanic**to join the team based in Wacol as a **Workshop Fitter**.

In this role, your key focus will be to provide quality customer outcomes through **diagnostics, maintenance and repairs**to our Hitachi earthmoving equipment and associated product lines, This will include**disassembling & assembling Hitachi OEM components. This permanent role will allow you to access OEM training while you build a long-term career in a global company.

**To be successful in this role, you will need**:

- Ensure the HCA Safety Culture is embraced, displayed and driven from within - safety takes priority over everything else
- Hold relevant Australian (or Australian recognised) **Mobile Plant, Fitter Machinist, Heavy Diesel trade qualifications**_or_** Experienced Light Vehicle Mechanic** looking to move into mining and construction machinery industry, **_or _**you have just completed mobile plant apprenticeship and you are looking to learn OEM machinery
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- The ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
- Having experience within a similar role or in a workshop environment would be highly advantageous
