**The Client**

Exciting opportunity to join a freight forwarder providing international forwarding services. They are looking for Warehouse Manager with strong experience and good knowledge in implementing processes

**The Position**

As the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of a medium team and ensuring safety is paramount. Your responsibilities will include:

- Manage 2 warehouse operations and associated tasks/one is a 3PL
- Lead, delegate and manage your team including; ensuring effective communication of department's objectives, conducting performance reviews and managing poor performance
- Constantly review and establish new procedures for all administration relating to warehouse operations to ensure more efficient outcomes
- Maximise warehouse efficiency by ensuring effective resource planning
- Ensure the facility is 100% maintained, secure and all safety regulations are met and adhered to
- Conduct team meetings to monitor performance and encourage engagement
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure effective communications and customers’ requirements are met.
- Develop and build external customer relationships

**The Requirements**
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role is essential
- Demonstrated people management and leadership skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Outstanding organisational skills
- Highly developed communication and reporting skills
- Excellent skills in writing SOP's
- Ability to ensure safety requirements at all times
- Australian Citizen or Permanent resident
