Fantastic opportunity for an up-and-coming Warehouse Manager to take charge of a dynamic warehousing team. With a focus on safety and a passion for continuous improvement you will be responsible for the ongoing strategic developments of the warehouse while also maintaining daily operations to achieve business objectives.

The role will include;
- Responsible for the safe operation of all duties as well as a taking ownership for the safe operation of the warehouse area.
- Responsible for the creation, execution and audit of procedures establishing safe warehouse operation - in particular people and machinery interaction.
- Lead and manage all assigned warehouse team members including 3rd party contractors.
- Monitor and communicate performance against KPI’s utilising visual performance management driving a continuous improvement mindset.
- Responsible for the adherence and continued improvement of procedures and methods of operations.
- Participate in the creation and execution of a strategy to become best practice in regards to warehouse operation in the medium term.
- Responsible for ensuring that finished product (Paper Rolls) is dispatched in a condition which meets quality expectations of our customer.

This really is a diverse role requiring someone who is energetic, self-driven and super keen to get involved in anything and everything Of course, you will also have some critical skills & experience such as;
- Previous experience in managing a Warehouse (preferably within the packaging industry).
- Exposure to the commercial as well as the operational business environment with a well-developed all round business acumen.
- Well-developed understanding of business systems such as ISO, HACCP, Safety, Environmental Management, Quality and Good Manufacturing Principles (GMP).
- Understanding of OHS&E legislation and EEO legislation.
